2023-2024 Tryouts

For current Chatham United Travel players entering 10U-15U, a formula based on Current Trainer Evaluation (50%), Tryout Score (40%) and Current PM Feedback (10%) will be used to rank players and develop the teams. (The Tryout Score is also used to calibrate across different trainers and PMs.)
For current 8U TDP players entering 9U, the 8U Trainers will be ranking the players and also ranking any new players during tryouts. These rankings will determine team formation.
Tryout Dates and Location:
Please note that the schedules are organized according to your 2023/24 age group, i.e. the age group for which you registered. Every year we have players showing up to the wrong tryout. Let's try to avoid that this year!
- Players should arrive at least 15 mins early for check-in.
- Players should not wear any CU clothing.
- Required equipment – shin guards, cleats or turf shoes, water bottle. No jewelry and soft hair accessories only.
- Parents staying onsite during the tryout should sit out of view of the tryout field.
10U-15U GIRLS & BOYS (2014-2009)
10U-15U age groups will have two tryout sessions according to the following schedule. Session One will be indoors and Session Two outdoors. Players should aim to attend both sessions.
