Academy Volunteers and Parent Managers
Parent Managers: Team of four parent managers (two from the boys’ side and two from the girls’ side) will form the 7U and 8U committees.
There will be one parent manager for 6U and one parent manager for Junior Academy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the practice schedule in TeamSnap
- Answer emails about the program
- Coordinate with the club registrar to ensure all players are registered in NJYS
- Coordinate with the club registrar to ensure all players and coaches are added to TeamSnap
- Attend board meetings, as necessary
Volunteers:
- Uniforms: Coordinate uniform pick-up and distribution
- Festival games:
- Coordinate sign-ups for weekly 5 v 5 festival teams and games (some games move to 7 v 7 in the spring for 8U)
- Event Day logistics

These are admin-related positions only. The professional trainers run the program from a coaching perspective. No background check, coaching licenses or background in soccer is needed for this admin role. If coaches are needed for the Festivals, they will need to have fulfilled the club coaching requirements.
