2024/25 Academy Registration

Registration for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Academy seasons is now open.

All Chatham girls and boys born between January 1 2017 - September 30 2021 are welcome to register.  There are no tryouts for the Academy programs. The Fall season will run Sep-Oct and the Spring season  (8U and 7U only) will run April-June. There may be an optional indoor winter season for an additional fee.

 8U Academy

8U Academy is a full year (fall and spring) program. Practices are twice a week. In the fall, there is one weekend scrimmage each week. There are optional opportunities to travel and play outside of Chatham during both fall and spring seasons.

Girls: Wednesdays from 5 to 6pm; Fridays from 4 to 5pm

7U Academy

7U Academy is a full year (fall and spring) program. Practices are twice a week. In the fall, there is one weekend scrimmage each week, playing alongside the recreation program. There are optional opportunities to travel and play outside of Chatham during both fall and spring seasons.

Boys: Tuesdays from 4 to 5pm; Wednesdays from 5 to 6pm

Girls: Tuesdays from 5 to 6pm; Wednesdays from 4 to 5pm

Cost: $650

Please note: 7U Academy players are also registered for the fall rec program. No separate registration needed.

 

6U Academy

Age group: 2019 birth year (attending Kindergarten)
Where: TBD
When: Mondays from 5:15pm to 6:15pm

Duration: 8 weeks, fall (September-October)
Cost: $225 (limited capacity)


Please note: Players going into Kindergarten in the Fall must also register for the kindergarten rec program to enroll in the Academy program.

 

Junior Academy

Age group: Preschool 3-5 year olds (birthdates: 10/1/19 - 9/30/21)

Fall session

When: Mondays from 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Cost: $225 (limited capacity)

 

Please note: Players in kindergarten should register for 6U Academy and/or the Rec program.

 

 

Online Registration:

  1. Go to the Registration page from the menu and select the Academy program for your player's birth year.
  2. If you have an account on TeamSnap through Chatham United or another sport, you can log in using your existing credentials. If you do not have an account, create a new one by clicking "Don’t Have a TeamSnap Account? Sign Up".
  3. Fill in the details for the participating player (be sure to use your child's full legal name rather than nicknames - this is required for insurance and registration with NJ Youth Soccer). In particular, please check that the player record contains an email address. Although the system links parent records with player records, it is helpful for the club if every player record has a contact email address.
  4. Let us know if you are interested in becoming a parent manager. Click here for more information.

Refund Policy

1. No refunds will be issued for the fees after July 31, 2024 (other than in the case of medical reason or relocation prior to the start of the fall season, as documented in writing to the Membership Committee).

2. Fees are non-refundable in any portion, once the fall season commences, as defined by the first practice (usually held in the first week of September).
